Starring in this anticipated love triangle are, Kang Hoon from the popular 2025 medical thriller Hunter with a Scalpel; alongside him is the office employee, also a pop star bias. Kim Hye Jun, best known for her role in A Shop for Killers, and Cha Woo Min from Melo Movie, playing Lee Chan, the heartthrob idol-turned-actor. As the first two episodes are out, the series depicts every fan's fantasy of meeting their idols and working at a firm that also belongs to their favorite celebs' personal brands. Let's delve into the details of the series' first two episodes.

Tangled Between Biased Love and Office Romance: Is My Biased Boss a Hit or Miss?

The series opens to a typical high schooler being swept away by her idol, DMX member Lee Chan. Nam Da Reum loves to listen to the idol members and is a massive fan of Lee Chan. This kept her from boredom, gave her courage to make friends, and now enables her to stay sane during tough times. Now a decade has passed, and she still loves him through every beat of her heart, yet she is being tested at work for being too delusional and being a pain for being upfront. Her adulthood is a pain, but her personal life is still rich with Lee Cha's music and a hope to be part of his venture, APPELLO.

Da Reum shares her first encounter with her bias

While her fate is still in limbo, Da Reum is about to live a bigger dream-come-true moment than one can only fantasise about. She is about to meet her idol and a love interest in her office who is the best friend of the idol. On the other hand, Kang Ha Gi, who is the CEO of the idol brand APPELLO, is trying to keep up with the brand name and its significance. Though he is a man of few words and minimal encounters, Ha Gi is quite a looker himself. Focused only on his work, he never thought that his life was going to bring love into his work life.

Da Reum is manifesting to get a job in APPELLO as a marketing employee so that she can stay closer to her idol. She finally gets into the firm, and now she has to just meet her idol. Thinking that Cha is the CEO of the company, she is excited to meet him for the first time in person, but it turns out that Kang Ha Gi is the CEO. But instead of keeping her hopes going down the drain, she still wishes to see her idol. Fate does let her meet Cha, but there is something else that may change her atmosphere in the office.

A mole from the rival company seems to have caught Kang's attention. Since Reum is the employee who joined recently, a suspicion may be swirling over her career, but it looks like the CEO is about to be hit by cupid. As Lee Cha's best friend, he was the quiet guy and rarely had lady luck, but now he is slowly feeling something beyond simple professional attachment towards Da Reum. On the other hand, Cha too may find this fan a bit too attractive to become something else.

Also, a misunderstanding leaves Da Reum thinking that her boss could be gay. In this spiral of misunderstanding, entering the co-op alone, will Da Reum really see love through her idol's affection towards a more realistic love? Well, this will be revealed soon.

A moment that will last forever. Da Reum and CEO Kang

The series promises a great deal of fun and lots of comedy where love turns too professional. Many fans from across the globe are eager to know what will happen next in the series. Already, the series has garnered a dedicated fanbase. A fan from Italy wrote, 'The umbrella scenes will always be loved by me...they're so cute.' Another fan from South Asia wrote, 'Watched to support Kang Hoon and other cast members, and it was funnn!! If you need a healing drama, this is perfect for you.'

A misunderstanding turning into a mess situation soon

From a global fan perspective, the series feels like a dream pairing gradually unfolding into a heartfelt love story. While the first two episodes introduce multiple emotional and narrative directions—raising questions of loyalty, admiration, and romance—they hit all the right notes to captivate viewers. If the momentum continues, this drama has all the makings of a standout hit
