A mother and a legendary sniper- can these two personalities co-exist at once? This August comes in with boldness and lots of thrills. A Bona Fide Killer, one of the anticipated series coming this August, has left fans craving some action this year. Starring Kong Hyo Jin, popularly known for her role in When the Camilla Blooms, as a bold, well-known sniper, Kingfisher, disguised as a mother, she is all set to come into the foreground to take down bad guys.

A lot has been teased in recent episodes, and as the series progresses, a mother has to juggle her personal life and her professional comeback. One small mistake and her identity can break her family, and her secret can reveal her among her enemies. Lately, fans have escalated their support for the series, depicting all the elements that have left them amazed.

Fans Can't Get Enough of Bona Fide Killer, a Top Pick for Thrills

The series has opened to a great start where Yoo Bo Na, a mother and dedicated wife, is living in the bliss of her life. Juggling her motherly duties and taking care of the house, her plate is full. But the twist in the tale is that she is the legendary sniper Kingfisher who took a three-year leave to raise a family. Now, after a long gap, she is ready to step into her fierce aura as the sniper who takes out law-fooling people saved by dirty tricks.

There have been some instances in the episodes where Bo Na and her family are about to find out about her past, but she covers it up before they come to know. Her husband Tae has grown a little suspicious of his wife since the moment she rejoined work; she has constantly been sighted in the same place where the legendary sniper was seen. Also, cases of sudden deaths, especially those who were found not guilty and were suspected of being guilty, were mysteriously shot dead.

Now the question arises: Will her husband get to reveal the sniper's identity? Her husband, Kwan Tae Seong, who is an investigative journalist, is deeply inclined to the identity of this sniper. In order to keep her from getting exposed, Bo Na has taken every crucial step to keep these things at bay. Her identity and her marriage are both on a fine balance, and new cases coming in are surely going to bring her into the light. Still juggling to be in the shadows, her team is trying to keep her unknown.

Fans, on the other hand, are simply mesmerized by the series. Many fans globally have loved the series and are eager to know how it concludes. A fan from Indonesia wrote, ‘Her performance here is really good as a mother, a wife, and a sniper. You can clearly see how natural she is, and her chemistry with Jung Jun Won is so good.' A fan from the US wrote, ‘Bo-na is successfully juggling her roles as a mother, manager, and sniper, but the hunt is on. Lee Sang-ye's character is just getting started.’ Another fan from Libya wrote, 'The feelings of fear began to fade within her, and she now had a weak spot that could easily be used against her.’ An Indian fan wrote, ‘I really loved how a mother turns into a sassy sniper killing bad guys...such a transformation is like a marvel in a Korean context!’

As the series pushes fans to expect the unexpected, it also has an emotional depth. The series, reimagined from the webtoon namesake, has more elements that will give rise to the rating. In the upcoming episodes, fans can expect a whirlpool of sequences where the kingfisher has to make tough choices and maintain a mother-and-wife aura in front of her family and neighbours. As a sniper, and that too a mother, will Bo Na be able to keep this secret for long? Well, to answer this, you have to wait.
