The next day, Tae Jun wakes up from his hangover, and the day begins as usual. As he goes to the hospital, he gets an anonymous call claiming to have kidnapped his wife. When Profession Becomes Purgatory: The Husband Review

The Husband had filled our hearts with dread. An overnight change of fate leading to an unexpected twist brought fans into a state of surprise. The series ticks all the boxes for thrill, action, and emotions, and has revenge vibes too. The two individuals who have endured a difficult period finally align their needs and look forward to a hopeful future. A parent losing their daughter and then marriage falling apart- all this was quite a narrative, and also adding the abduction and personal revenge was quite a great start plot. The ending of the story explores whether the husband's dilemma is driven by personal jealousy or professional rivalry related to a medical scandal.

Tae Ju and Yu after visiting their daughter's grave

What was missing in the series was the constant jumps in time. Towards the second half of the series, Se Yun and Kang Tae both managed to overcome their feelings, but the twist in the tale came quite late, leaving fans uninterested towards the end. Although it was quite worth watching the series. To review the series, it's a solid 8.5 out of 10.
